Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy applies to smartvora.com, an independently operated editorial website published as Smartvora (“we,” “us”). Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
Information processed when you visit
Smartvora serves static pages and does not provide visitor accounts, a newsletter signup, checkout, or a contact form. We do not intentionally collect profile information from casual readers. Our hosting and network providers may process technical data such as IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information, and security events to deliver pages, protect the site, and diagnose problems. This does not mean browsing is anonymous to the hosting provider.
Search and tracking
The site's search runs in your browser using a local article index. We do not send search terms to a search engine or analytics service. Search terms appear in the page URL; that URL may be present in browser history or infrastructure logs. The site currently includes no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, or affiliate tracking links.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message. We use it to respond to the inquiry, evaluate corrections, handle business communication, or meet applicable obligations. Correspondence is processed through Gmail and may be handled under Google's own service terms and privacy policy. Do not include sensitive personal data unless necessary.
Cookies and browser storage
Smartvora's application does not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. Infrastructure may use security-related cookies where needed. Third-party websites linked from our articles may use their own cookies and tracking. See the Cookie Notice for the current site behavior.
Why information is used
Technical information may be processed for page delivery, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Email information is used for the communication you initiate. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, relevant purposes may rely on legitimate interests in operating a secure publication, responding to your request, or compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.
Sharing and external sites
We do not sell personal information or intentionally disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be processed by service providers for hosting, network security, and email, or disclosed when legally required. Clicking a third-party link takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. We cannot control those services.
Retention and international processing
We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, maintain correction records, or meet applicable obligations. Infrastructure log retention is governed by the relevant provider's settings and policies. Hosting and email providers may process information outside your country. We cannot promise a specific geographic processing location.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information in our control. Additional rights may apply based on your location, including objection, restriction, portability, or a complaint to a supervisory authority. We may need sufficient information to verify a request. Some records must be retained for legal or security reasons.
Children and security
Smartvora is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information. We take reasonable steps appropriate to a small publication, but no transmission or storage system is guaranteed secure.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the site's data practices change, including if analytics, forms, advertising, or affiliate tools are introduced. The date above identifies the current version.
